Soap has been used to protect  Polished Plaster, Marmorino and all lime based Stucco coatings for generations.

Apply by trowel to the Polished Plaster or Stucco surface and let absorb deep into the lime based stucco. Wipe the excess soap away from the stucco with a soft cloth after 48 hours.

Remember soap may change stucco surfaces a little both to the touch and visually therefore always try a test area on all stucco finishes.
