This is a traditional Moroccan wall finish, originating in the Marrakesh Region. It is a traditional polished plaster wall finish found in Hammams, the Moroccan steam baths, and in the riads of Marrakesh.

 

 

Rediscovered in the West, Tadelakt polished plaster is appreciated for its durability and aesthetically pleasing appearance which brings to mind exotic places.

 

It has a smooth appearance, which is slightly shiny like Marmorino Veneziano, but is thicker and with a different texture. Very durable, quite water resistant and breathable.

Tadelakt Polished Plaster from Stucco Italiano

Lime powder, hydraulic lime, stone granules of variable thickness up to 1.2 mm, special additives facilitate application, by aiding in adhesion and reducing cracking.


Packaging

  • 20 kg net polyethylene containers.

Application Temperature

Min. 5°C (41°F) max 37°C (99°F) relative humidity < 85%.


Drying

3 hours at 20°C (68°F) to the touch. Carbonation 48 hours at 20°C (68°F). Fully dry in 180 days.


Storage

Shelf life is 24 months. Product maintains its characteristics best if protected from extreme heat or cold.


Safety

Lime products are caustic. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. Product must be disposed of according to norms and regulations in force. Containers must be recycled.
